María, turned 4 a few months ago… please pray for her and the situation that she is living.
She is the daughter of a drug addict woman who exchanged her for drugs when she was born. The drug dealer sold her to a pair of homosexuals who in turn asked a nurse to sign the birth certificate as if she were María’s mother. (We think she was not fully aware of the situation at the time.)
The nurse lovingly takes care of María during the week. María is with us for the morning session as well as the afternoon session. The man who bought her takes her home with him on the weekends.
This man has been very sick lately. It appears that he has Tuberculosis and now he has contracted a very serious case of diarrhoea. It appears that he has AIDS and that there is no hope for him.
On Monday I am going to the courthouse to verify whether or not the papers we have are false or legal. From that point on we will know what steps we can take to help her. We believe that this child is in a risky situation since there are unscrupulous people with no fear of God involved in this.
I am attaching a picture. She is precious in every sense of the word. You can see for yourself.

Update (18th October 2006)
I visited Maria's father (see photo below). He calls himself "Chris", it is his nickname. I spoke to him about the plan of salvation and we prayed together. He received Jesus in his heart as his only Lord and Savior.
He was very worried about Maria. He feels that he his going to die. I comitted myself to watching out for her although the nurse really does lover her and take care of her. It was truly a beautiful experience. Jesus himself was sitting there with us. Blessed and praised be His name one more time.
Thank you for your prayers, e-mails, words of encouragement, and wise advice. God is indispensable in my life. Without Him I could not live. But you all are a very important and neccesary instrumet that God is using. God has shown me many things by way of you and your attitudes. Thank you for everything.
