August News

These past few weeks have been full of work and at the same time full of blessing.  We have been visited by young people from California who came to give, to learn, and to receive all that God has for them.  Their parents and pastors must feel very satisfied with them as they are a testimony of praise to God.

They have spent more than just one afternoon with us.  God has worked once more in both directions.  They have shared with the children with all their heart and with all their love.  They have visited the homes of the families, and they have prayed for each one en their homes making a huge difference.

Máxima and Children

Lubia is now with us.  She studies  2 days a week.  She participates in the staff meetings and helps Güichita with the clearing.  Seidy is studying everyday with us as are Rony, Evelin, Wendy and Joseline.

Every day we find more oppression and pain in their lives.  I remember when Israel was enslaved for 400 years and “their cry rose up to God”  and God responded!  I don’t know how long they have been crying out to God, but God has responded.  This week the 7 of them came to church with us for the first time.  They liked it!  We hope that they stay.

Gang Members

Please help us to pray for the gang members.  We have had the opportunity to speak with and pray for some of the key members.  Their desire is to receive a miracle to be able to get out of the situation they are in but they have no strength left.

Other News

We have a new washer and refrigerator!  We can store food!!!  God is good and takes care of every detail so that these children receive what is necessary.   Wow.

Wilson is going to a Psychiatrist.  Luiscito should also be going, but his first visit is not until August 9th.  Please pray for them.

Jonatan

I still have not found a place for him.  I have prayed and waited upon the Lord.  I trust that His plans are precious and perfect.  It is very hard for us to keep Jonatan in the program, however I don’t want to just let him go without having someone to turn him over to.  We really need prayer concerning this, please.

Thoughts

With what shall I come before the Lord and bow down before the exalted God?  Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?  Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of lambs, with ten thousands rivers of oil?  Shall I offer my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

He has shown you o man what is good!

And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly; to love mercy; and to walk humbly with your God. [Micah 6:6-8]

Finally...

There truly is so much to tell you, but I will tell you in bits and pieces.  For now I leave you with this little bit so that you can pray.

Thank you for your willing hearts,
Tita, the staff and all the children
