These pictures were taken two weeks ago. We prayed for Ester, Jessica, and Bryan.  They received Jesus Christ as their Savior. Jessica and Bryan also dedicated their baby to God.

Sometimes it is hard to express myself in words…. This time my heart is broken, but praised the Lord, filled with hope.

Ester has been a widow for a little bit over two years now. She is a very working woman, with 4 children and one grandchild who is one month old.  She is dying at the hospital as I am writing; she has AIDS, cancer and tuberculosis.  Her kids are devastated.

We, as ministry, will take care of them for as long as God’s blessings allow us.  The most important thing now is to integrate three of the children into a school, and get the funds to help them pay the hospital expenses up until now.

Jessica is the little baby’s mother; we are planning on teaching her husband (they aren’t married yet) some practical skills so that he can get a job.  His name is Bryan and he is the son of one of the largest drug dealers and gang members in the neighborhood.  He has never studied and he has never worked.

I firmly believe that we, as the Body of Christ, are the ones that can make a difference in these situations.  We provide hope and answers, and it seems that if we don’t act, God doesn’t act either.  Of course, we know that is not true.  God feels, he is concerned by all these things, and he extends his arm toward us that believe in Him.

I really appreciate your prayers:
For Ester’s children: Esdras, Jessica, Gerson y Astrid.
So that we may be able to enroll the children in a school.
For God’s provision for present and future expenses.
For the wisdom needed to make the necessary decisions.
For a firm commitment with this family.
For God’s comfort and strength since I am feeling very sad and overwhelmed.

Thanks for everything.

Blessed is he who has regard for the weak;
      the LORD delivers him in times of trouble.
The LORD will protect him and preserve his life;
      he will bless him in the land
      and not surrender him to the desire of his foes.
The LORD will sustain him on his sickbed
      and restore him from his bed of illness.
